On one of our regular boat trips a young couple enjoyed the sight when the searchlight switched on and started to sweep the following bridge. The light stopped on a sign: „Will you marry me, … ?” The horn blew in the silent night, the young lad went down on his knees, light glinted on a ring and he proposed her. They happily live ever after… It was a pleasure to participate in preparing this occasion, we are happy to make one for you. Even if that sounds silly. If you prefer we may also involve small powerboats.

After weeks and weeks of searching for that special place to propose to (my now fiancée) I came across portum lines in budapest. I got in contact with Kornel with the idea of hiring his boat as I wanted to propose to my girlfriend. After receiving a email back from kornel he offered me the romantic package which is private 2 hour boat tour a 3 course meal and would also put a banner on chain bridge for me with the words “becky will you marry me” for the moment when I pop the question. As soon as I received this email I new this was the perfect proposal for me and booked it straight away.
We arrived at portum lines and was meet by kornel (the owner) who introduced us to his welcoming lovely cabin crew and captain. We then went on to our table which was set for 2 on the decking of our boat this was set out lovely and looked so romantic. So the boat trip began as you can imagine I was nervous as anything I went to get the drinks and kornel informed me the banner will be on the 2nd bridge we past. With the bridge coming up i got my (now fiancée) to stand up and look at the scenery like we was in the titanic haha and there is was a big banner in black and white right in our sight I got down on one knee and asked the woman i love to marry me which she said Yeah. We then turned around for kornel and his cabin crew to be there congratulating us on our engagement and popped open a bottle of champagne. We then sat down wiped away our tears of joy then got ready for the start of our 3 course meal which was the nicest food I had in my 3 days of being in budapest. I can not thank kornel for the effort and work he done to make my day so special I would well and truly recommended this company and kornel to anybody looking at propsing to there girlfriend!!!!
Forget all the usual places everyone does trust me this was special unique I will certainly be going back to Budapest it is a beautiful city and I fell in love with the place and Portum Lines for what they did to make my day as special as it could be!!!
I couldn’t of dreamt of it to go as well as it did and how special you made me and my fiancée feel!!!
